CS-GO

Gabriel Sciberras

Following the PGL Stockholm Major earlier this year, the CS:GO esports scene exploded like never before. Accordingly, that’s why we can’t wait to see more massive events. Speaking of which, the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 looks to entertain us with the best teams in the world. Accordingly, read on as we handle all the viewership details for you below!

Event Background

Up to this point, it’s been a lot of build-up for this final stage. Finally, after the Showdown and Groups stage earlier this year, we’ve boiled everything down to the final top 8 teams in the world.

Competing for the grand prize of $425,000, the 8 teams will compete at the Royal Arena (Copenhagen) as soon as tomorrow. Running from the 24th to the 28th of November, the offline event is sure to capture the excitement of the esport.

Anyways, below are your top 8 teams, arguably in the world, for CS:GO:

  • Team Vitality – Fall Groups
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas – Fall Groups
  • Natus Vincere – Fall Groups
  • Astralis – Fall Groups
  • BIG – Fall Groups
  • FaZe Clan – Fall Groups
  • Heroic – Fall Showdown
  • Team Liquid – Fall Showdown

Beyond the prize pool, teams will also be earning BLAST Premier points to seed for future events. Furthermore, the first place team will earn a seed at the World Final taking place in December.

Format

Considering the number of teams, the format is respectably simple.

Indeed, all teams have been seeded into the Double-Elimination bracket. This means that teams will have a chance to reach the Grand FInal through the Upper or Lower Bracket. Accordingly, here’s how the first rounds in the Upper Bracket look like:

  • Natus Vincere vs BIG
  • Heroic vs FaZe Clan
  • Team Vitality vs Team Liquid
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Astralis

Any losses in the Upper Bracket will send a team to the Lower Bracket, where they’ll have a final chance to stay in the competition.

Predictions

Credits: PGL

The best way to make predictions, apart from the qualifying process of this event, is to look at the PGL Stockholm 2021. Accordingly, here’s how teams finished at the largest event of the year for CS:GO:

  1. Natus Vincere
  2. G2 Esports
  3. Gambit Esports
  4. Heroic
  5. Team Vitality
  6. FURIA Esports
  7. Virtus.pro
  8. Ninjas in Pyjamas
  9. Entropiq
  10. Copenhagen Flames
  11. FaZe Clan

Accordingly, not all the teams at this event made it very far in the PGL Major Stockholm.

Anyways, with regards to our predictions, our favourites have to be Natus Vincere after their historic win at the PGL Major. Otherwise, we’re unsure if anyone can stop them with G2 not attending this event.

Also, many teams have made some roster changes, so we’re curious to see how the competition stacks up.
