Following an intense Group Stage, the CoD esports community is ready for the year’s first Major event. Accordingly, the CDL Stage 1 Major 2022 event is just around the corner. Indeed, feel free to read on as we porvide all of the viewership details you need to enjoy this event!
Event Background
Accordingly, the 2022 Call of Duty Season is planned to have 4 Majors across the season before the CDL Championship.
Following the first Group Stage, with teams fighting for seeding, we have the first major to look forward to. Kicking off on March 3rd, it looks to occupy the weekend and conclude on March 6th.
Specifically, the 12 franchised teams will be attending the event hosted by OpTic Texas at the Esports Arena in Arlington, Texas. Here are the 12 teams listed once again:

- Los Angeles Guerrillas

Competing for the prize pool and CDL Points at stake, this is the first opportunity to see how the competition truly stacks up.
Format
To do so, the same format from last year’s Majors is being put back into practice.
The event format consists of one double elimination bracket, with teams seeded thanks to the Stage 1 placements. Considering that 1st-8th earn a spot in Winners Round 1 and 9-12th earn a spot in Losers Round 1, here’s what the bracket looks like:

Bearing this in mind, all matches will be BO5 except for the returning BO9 Grand Final which looks to be epic.
