Following the Six Invitational 2022, a new season of competitive Rainbow Six Siege is here. Accordingly, two of the most competitive regions are ready to kick off with the first stage of competition. Indeed, pairing them into one episode of How to Watch, feel free for all viewership details for the EU & NA Stage 1 2022 events!
Event Background
Indeed, Ubisoft is organizing both events to kick off in the coming week!
Starting with the North American League, here teams will compete from 29th March to 27th April. Specifically, the 10 teams are back to compete in an Offline environment for regional dominance once again and a prize pool too.
Moving on with Europe, it’s the same situation but everything will take place online. Running from 28th March to 2nd May, 10 teams will also be competing here for the same stakes.
Find the teams for both regions listed below:
European League 2022 – Stage 1

Furthermore, for both regions there are 4 seeds for the Six Major each for the top 4 players. In addition, Six Invitational Points will be awarded to the top 8 teams which will prove useful to qualify for the biggest event of the year at the end of the season.
Format
In terms of format, both regions have an identical approach, so we can address them together.
As a regular season event, the format will be the same throughout. Accordingly, a single round-robin league format will take place. Specifically, this means that each team will play one another once, meaning 9 matches for each team. All matches will be BO1 and points awarded as follows:
- Default Win – 3 Points
- Overtime Win – 2 Points
- Overtime Defeat – 1 Point
Following all games and considering the tiebreaker rules (head-to-head/match win percentage/round win percentage/tiebreaker match), final standings will be produced.
Schedule for the EU & NA Stage 1 2022

Predictions
Let’s start our predictions with the European League 2022. Let’s do so by taking a look at the European League Season FInals from 2021 at the end of last year as the last regional competition:
- #1 – Team BDS
- #2 – Team Empire
- #3 – Natus Vincere
- #4 – G2 Esports
In addition though, we’d like to point out Team Empire placing second at the Six Invitational earlier this year, while Team BDS placed dead-last. Accordingly, we’d like to favour Team Empire for the European region.
And now, let’s take a look at the North American Finals 2021 from the end of last season:
- #1 – Soniqs
- #2 – DarkZero Esports
- #3-4 – Spacestation Gaming, Oxygen Esports
However, these standings go out the window with TSM crowned your World Champions a few months ago – bearing this in mind we’d like to favour TSM!
