Post-season events for competitive FIFA 22 are incredible this year. Indeed, after last year saw multiple cancellations, three offline major events are taking place across the next month. Accordingly, the first one we’re concerned with is the FIFAe World Cup 2022 – read on to learn How to Watch this upcoming event!

Event Background

Indeed, as you can imagine, the World Cup looks to be similar to the traditional international soccer event.

However, heading into this event there may be more than one representative for each nation, with multiple countries being represented and celebrating international FIFA 22.

Furthermore, all the action looks to take place between 14th and 17th July, offline at the Bella Arena in Copenhagen. For the top 32 players in the world, all qualified from the Global Series Playoffs, there’s one prize. Specifically, this is $500,000 split amongst the top finishing competitors.

While we won’t list all 32 competitors here, feel free to find a full list at the official event page here.

Format

In terms of format, there will be two stages of competition to enjoy.

Firstly, the Group Stage will take place from 14th to 15th July. At this stage, the 32 players will fight through 4 groups of 8. Here’s how the Groups have been split:

  • A: TeamHajj, Lamps, Paulo Neto, Stingray, Damesheet, Young, OneWayCrazyy, LevideWeerd
  • B: Klenke, Obrun2002, Gilles, Tekkz, EmreYilmaz, StefanoPinna, BeneCR7X, JRA
  • C: tuga810, Umut, nicolas99fc, Ollelito, LPeixoto, cone, Er_Caccia98, KKoray
  • D: Manuel, damie, Matias, Danipitbull, Edson, DullenMIKE, Web, Nasri, Chris

Moreover, within each group all matches will be 1v1 and part of a double round robin – every competitors plays one another twice. Note that the point system from each match is as follows:

  • Win – 3 points
  • Draw – 1 point
  • Loss – 0 points

Indeed, only half the competition will progress to the Knockout Stage – top 4 from each Group.

Once at the Knockout Stage, running from 16 to 17th July – a single elimination will determine the FIFAe World Cup champion. Specifically, matches will be played over two legs at this point in time.

Schedule for FIFAe World Cup 2022

Predictions

In terms of predictions, seeding into the event involved the 32 top players from the FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs. Accordingly, the following are the top 16 placed players at that event:

An example of a favourite is none other than Nicolas “nicolas99fc” Villalba after winning the eChampions League 2022 earlier this year.
