We’ve been waiting all summer for another premier Free Fire event. Indeed, ever since the Singapore Major which stunned the esports industry, we’re ready to see what’s next for this esport. Accordingly, we have some exciting majors to look forward to. Indeed, read on to learn everything you need to learn to watch the Free Fire Asia Championship 2021!

Event Background

Specifically, this event looks to unite and culminate multiple several regional leagues. Accordingly, we have 7 regions from the continent of Asia present their very best teams.

Bearing this in mind, we have 31 of the best teams in Asia heading into an online event organized by Garena. Furthermore, we have $400,000 on the line to verify the event as a Major. Otherwise, the event will be running from the 20th November all the way to 28th November.

Anyways, the following are your 31 teams from all across the continent:

Finals Teams:

  • Burst The Sky – Vietnam
  • EVOS Divine – Indonesia
  • eArena – Thailand
  • LGDS – Taiwan
  • Blacklist International – MCP
  • Team Elite – India
  • Hotshot Esports – Pakistan

Playins Teams:

  • Vietnam – HQ Esports, God of Wolf, Heavy, BOX Gaming
  • Indonesia – SES Alfaink, Siren GPX, The Pillars Gladius, DG Esports
  • Thailand – Phoenix Force, SYZYGY, King of Gamers Club, CGGG
  • Taiwan – No.1 King, Original Player, EPIC
  • MCP – DOEASY, 4X MEN XPERT, Supreme Assault Forces
  • India – PVS Gaming, Total Gaming eSports, Desi Gamers
  • Pakistan – Five Mutants, No Chance ES, House of Blood

Apart from prize pool, there are no other points or seeds on the line for these teams. Indeed, this is the largest event of the region of the year and we simply cannot wait.

Format

With regards to the format, it will take place depending on the seeding of teams.

Accordingly, first we’ll be kicking off with the Playins stage. This stage will be for the teams who haven’t been directly invited to the Grand Finals.

Here at the Playins, the competition will take place from November 20th to 21st. Here, all 24 teams will be split into two groups of 12 teams to sort out the seeds for the Finals. Accordingly, only the top 2 teams in each group will proceed to the Finals. together with the third overall seed.

  • Group A – KOG Club, SYZYGY, Supreme Assault Forces, Desi Gamers, DG Esports, EPIC, 5MT, No.1 King, SES MIZU, No Chance ES, HQ Esports, GOW
  • Group B – 4X MEN XPERT, CGGG, DOEASY, PVS Gaming, The Pillars Gladius, Total Gaming eSports, BOX Gaming, Heavy, House of Blood, Phoenix Force, Siren GPX, Original Player

With the teams finalized, we’ll have 12 teams heading to the Finals taking place on November 28th.
