Indeed, there’s no doubt that India is a hotspot for competitive mobile battle royale. Bearing this in mind, we’re especially excited for the Free Fire India Championship Fall 2021 coming next week. In terms of background, this event has become a seasonal staple to competitive Free Fire. Following up on the action from the 2021 Spring event, the FFIC looks to take place from the 17th of September to the 17th of October.

Housing the slogan ‘Where Champions Are Made’, it’s definitely true. Accordingly, teams attended represent the nations of both India and Nepal.

Heading into this event, there are two sets of qualified teams. Specifically, out of 18 roster, 6 have qualified via the Pro League India while the remainder came from Closed Qualifiers.

With the contestants laid out in front of you, let’s take a look at the format.

Format

Overall, we have a tonne of to go through here. So far, two stages have been complete with the FFC Mode Qualifiers and the Closed Qualifiers.

Heading into this Main Event, we have the League Circuit to start things off. Running from 17th September to 3rd October, all 18 teams have been split into three groups in a league round robin. Take a look at the groups below:

  • A – Trained to Kill, LR7 United, Total Gaming eSports, Desi Gamers, AURA Esports IN, TEAM CHAOS
  • B – Titanium, Head Hunters, PVS Gaming, Skylightz Gaming, Blind eSports, TSM
  • C – Team Elite, Galaxy Racer, 4 Unknown, UG Empire, Arrow Gaming, From The Future

From each group, the top 2 will qualify for the Grand Finals and also the Pro League 2021 Winter. Moving on, the bottom 4 will enter the Play-Ins.

Indeed, the Play-Ins will start on 10th October. Here, the bottom 4 teams from each group will fight for the last 6 seeds for Grand Finals and Pro League 2021 Winter.

With the final 12 teams in the Grand Finals, the 17th of October will determine who the top teams in the world following 6 matches.

Do note that at all times, we have the same Points Distribution. Indeed, with 1 point per kill, then there’s with the placements:

  • 1st (12 points), 2nd (9 points), 3rd (8 points), 4th (7 points), 5th (6 points), 6th (5 points), 7th (4 points), 8th (3 points), 9th (2 points). 10th(1 point), 11-12th (0 points)
