As you can tell from how the participants have been listed, there are two stages – Finals and Play-Ins.
Specifically, the event kicks off with the Play-Ins. Taking place on 14th May, the 10 teams will compete in six rounds of competition. By earning points through kills and placements, only the top 4 will progress and join the Finals competitors.
Otherwise, the Finals will take place on May 21st, with the final 12 competitors involved. Once again, six rounds of competition will determine the World Champions.
At both stages of competition, the following Points Distribution will be used:
- Kill Points – 1 per kill
- 1st – 12 points
- 2nd – 9 points
- 3rd – 8 points
- 4th – 7 points
- 5th – 6 points
- 6th – 5 points
- 7th – 4 points
- 8th – 3 points
- 9th – 2 points
- 10th – 1 point

Predictions
So, to make proper predictions, let’s look at the last time we got to enjoy international competition – FFWS 2021 Singapore. Here’s how it all went down back then:
- 1 – Phoenix Force
- 2 – LOUD
- 3 – Silence
- 4 – Fluxo
- 5 – HQ Esports
- 6 – Burst The Sky
- 7 – Team Aze
- 8 – EVOS Divine
For those unaware, EVOS Phoenix consists of the majority of the Phoenix Force roster. Bearing this in mind, they remain the favourites for this event, while LOUD could perhaps shake things up and perhaps shift the tables in Brazil’s favour.
Naturally, Thailand and Brazil are two of the top regions – a winner is likely to come from here.
