Secondly, we have the Playoffs to look forward to. Accordingly, the final four teams will compete in a deadly single-elimination bracket.

Predictions
When it comes to predictions, it’s best to take a look at the past international events to see results. Specifically, the most recent international event was the Charlotte Major 2022 – here’s how the competition stacked up back then:
- #1 – DarkZero Esports
- #2 – Astralis
- #3-4 – Oxygen Esports, Team Liquid
- #5-8 – G2 Esports, Team oNe eSports, Team BDS, XSET
As you can see, some of the very best teams in the world have not been invited, but competition looks to be tight regardless.
Naturally, with regards to favourites, we’d like to focus on the invited teams from the top three regions of Europe, North America and Brazil:
- TSM – 1st @ Six Invitational 2022, 2nd @ NAL Stage 2 2021
- Team Liquid – 1st @ Copa Elite Six 2022 Stage 1, 2nd @ Six Invitational 2021
- BDS Esports – 1st @ EUL 2021 Finals, 1st @ EUL Stage 3, 3-4th @ Six Invitational 2021
Overall, TSM are looking like the favourites for the simple reason that they managed to win the most important event from last season in the form of Six Invitational 2022.
However, as evident above, they failed to perform at the most recent major. Instead, only TSM and Team Liquid offered a good showing. Anyways, we can’t wait to see how everything boils over in Riyadh!
