Read on as we provide all the necessary viewership details you need to enjoy the LCK Spring Playoffs 2022!
Event Background
For those unaware, the LCK celebrates the highest level of competitive League of Legends in all of South Korea. Heading into the 2022 season, the region still stood as one of the best in the world, with DWG KIA placing second at Worlds 2021.
Anyways, the first leg of the season included the Spring Split. With the 10 franchised teams going at it once again, the stakes were clear. After two months of competition, only the top 6 would progress to compete at the Playoffs event.
Here they would have a shot at the prize pool of ₩375,000,000 and the single seed towards MSI 2022, together with Championship Points to help with seeding later on in the season.
Without further delay, here are your 6 seeded teams:
- #1 – T1
- #2 – Gen.G
- #3 – DWG KIA
- #4 – DRX
- #5 – Kwangdong Freecs
- #6 – Fredit BRION
Running from 23rd March to 2nd April, the competition looks to take place Offline with a live audience should everything be ideal.
Let’s dive a little deeper!

Predictions
In terms of predictions, the best way to look forward is by looking at the past Spring Split standings for these 6 teams:
- T1 (18-0)
- Gen.G (15-3)
- DWG KIA (11-7)
- DRX (11-7)
- Kwangdong (8-10)
- Fredit BRION (8-10)
It’s quite clear what the story is for this event. Accordingly, the favourites of T1 look to steamroll the competition in the coming days.
Otherwise, can anyone stop them?
Indeed, the team in the best position to do so would have to be Gen.G. Intense preparation for a possible Grand Final is their best bet to try shut down T1’s superstars.
Further down the standings, it’s unclear which of the remaining four teams will manage to make a deep run at this incredible competition event. It would be exciting to see one or two upsets by the teams many would consider underdogs in this story.
