Following the Rainbow Six Berlin Major, the community has enjoyed a little down time. However, the competition will be returning shortly with regional competitions. Accordingly, the North American League Stage 3 tournament will be kicking off within a week – read on to learn how to watch below!
Event Background
For those unaware, the North American League is the top level of competition for both the US and Canada. Indeed, with $50,000 on the line, teams will be competing from 13th September to 14th October.
Featuring the top 10 teams in the region, Ubisoft and FACEIT will invite the competition to compete offline at the Las Vegas Esports Arena. Here are your ten teams listed below:
Season 2021
- Spacestation Gaming
- Oxygen Esports
- Soniqs
- DarkZero Esports
- TSM
- Mirage
- Astralis
- beastcoast
Relegation
- Parabellum Esports
Invited
- XSET
Naturally, there’s far more than just prize pool for these teams. Furthermore, there are also seeds and Six Invitational points on the line. Specifically, the top 4 teams will be heading to the international Six Major upcoming after the regional leagues.
In addition, Six Invitational Points are also up for grabs.
Format
Earning these seeds and prize pool involves fighting through the event format.
As seen in previous stages of competition, the event will involve a regular season style. Moreover, a single round robin league will see each team facing one another once in BO1 matches.
Scoring also remains the same as listed below:
- Default Win – 3 points
- Overtime Win – 2 points
- Overtime Defeat – 1 point
Similarly, tiebreaker rules remain the same, with a priority on Round Difference and Head-to-Head. When it comes to the final standings, even one round could be the difference.
Schedule for the North American League Stage 3
With the community and Ubisoft still reeling from the Six Major, the schedule for the upcoming regional leagues are yet to be announced.
However, we have no doubt that the schedule will be shortly revealed on the Rainbow Six Esports NA Twitter page.

Predictions
Naturally, in order to make the best predictions possible, we need to take a look at Stage 2’s standings:
- #1 – Astralis – 16 points
- #2 – Soniqs – 16 points
- #3 – Oxygen Esports – 16 points
- #4 – XSET – 15 points
- #5 – DarkZero Esports – 15 points
- #6 – Parabellum Esports – 14 points
Back in Stage 2, only 2 points separated 6th to 1st place with multiple ties. Therefore, it’s incredibly tough to predict who will come out on top.
However, one thing to note is the performance of teams at the international Major, the Six Berlin Major. Taking place after Stage 2, here’s how the seeded teams fared against the international competition:
- #3-4 – XSET
- #9-12 – Oxygen Esports
- #13-16 – Soniqs, Astralis
Surprisingly, XSET managed to finish 3-4th – considering this recent form they are also favourites for this event.
So overall, we’d like to favour the likes of XSET and Astralis heading into this event – however, an event like this is a marathon, not a sprint. Also, roster changes are a factor we can’t account for.
