Starting tomorrow, the Peace Elite Asia Invitational 2021 is kicking off. The event will feature some of the best Asian teams currently and is certainly not worth missing. Here’s our guide on all the details about the event, and how to watch it!

Tournament’s background

The Peace Elite Asia Invitational 2021 (PEI) is an Asian Invitational event of the Peacekeeper Elite. Peacekeeper Elite is a Chinese rebranded version of PUBG Mobile. The previous Peacekeeper Elite event took place last year between March and April.

How to qualify for the main event

To qualify for this event, teams had multiple ways. First we had teams that placed top 2 in PEL Season 1 (Team Weibo, Royal Never Give Up) and a Wildcard team. Then Top 2 teams from  PMPL S3 Indonesia, PMPL S3 Vietnam, and PMPL S3 South Asia Finals. Top 2 teams from PMPL S3 Malaysia and PMPL S3 Thailand League Stage. And lastly, the Top team from PM Japan League S1 Phase 1 and PM Street Challenge 2020 2nd Half.

Tournament Format for Peace Elite Asia Invitational 2021

The tournament format for the Peace Elite Asia Invitational 2021 is similar to any other PUBG event. Here is the placement points for the tournament:

  • 1st – 12 points
  • 2nd – 10 points
  • 3rd – 8 points
  • 4th – 7 points
  • 5th – 6 points
  • 6th – 4 points
  • 7 – 8th – 2 points
  • 9 – 11th – 1 points
  • 12 – 15th – 0 points
  • Each Kill in 1st/2nd Zone are worth 2 points, whereas the remaining zones are 1 point

Prize distribution

There will be a total of $461,865 USD (equivalent to ¥3,000,000 CNY) to be distributed between the top 10 teams. This is how the prize money will be distributed:

  • 1st – $153,955
  • 2nd – $46,187
  • 3rd – $38,489
  • 4th – $15,396
  • 5th – $12,316
  • 6th – $9,237
  • 7th-8th – $6,158
  • 8th – $4,619
  • 9th – $3,079
  • 10th – $3,079
