The 3rd set of the PUBG Continental series is upon us, and this time round the competition is way higher. In this article we’ll be going over on how to watch the PUBG Continental Series 3 Finals for all regions (North America, Europe, APAC, and Asia).
Tournament’s background
The PUBG Continental Series is an online regional tournament which is organized by PUBG Corporation. The PCS was created in order to replace the 2020 Global Series.
How to qualify for the main event
The ways to qualify for the main event vary in multiple ways, for various regions. In Europe, some teams were invited, some have advanced through qualifiers (EU West, EU East, MEA). North America has no teams that were invited, as most of the teams passed through PCS2 NA Grand Finals, or the NA Challenger Cup 2. In Asia, teams qualified via Korean, Chinese, Japanese and TWHKMO qualifiers. Lastly, in APAC most of the teams passed through the Thailand Master Series, whereas some qualified through the Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippine series.
Prize distribution
There will be a total of $800,000 to be distributed between all 4 regions, each region having $200,000. This is how the prize money will be distributed:
Europe & North America:
- 1st – $50,000
- 2nd – $30,000
- 3rd – $20,000
- 4th – $10,000
- 5th-8th – $6,400
- 9th-16th – $4,850
- 17th-24th – $3,200
APAC & Asia:
- 1st – $80,000
- 2nd – $35,000
