Format

With such an exhaustive list of competitors, the format is also quite particular. Indeed, we’ll list the several stages below:

  • Rank Decision – Week 1 will see four groups of 8 competing to earn a spot in the starting 16 for the first Weekly Survival
  • Weekly Survival – taking place with 16 matches each week, there are sixteen opportunities for teams to earn a first place and progress to the Weekly Finals of that week. Once a team wins, they won’t compete in the next match while the next waiting list squad joins the sixteen.
  • Bottom 16 Stage – teams that didnt make it to the Weekly Finals will compete at the same time to sort out the seeds of 17-32nd for the next week of competition in terms of waiting list
  • Weekly Finals – a competition for the 16 winners of the week, the one winner from each Weekly Finals will earn a spot in the Grand Finals. Also, the top 9 points will also progress to the Grand Finals

Following all of this, there’ll be two final matches. Indeed, a Grand Survival between the 13th-31st seeds will have 4 more matches to try and earn the final four seeds. With that concluded, the final standing group of teams will compete in the 15 matches of the Grand Finals to decide a winner of the 2021 Season.
