Following a short break since the Six Mexico Major in August, we’re ready for some regional competiiton once again. Accordingly, we have two of the biggest regions going at it next week. Read on as we discuss how to watch the R6S Stage 3 2021 event for NAL and EU!
Event Background
Indeed, we’ll be approaching but regions simultaneously.
Starting off with Europe, Stage 3 here will kick off on the 9th September with €50,000 on the line for the top 10 teams in the world. Attending the online event are the following teams:
- BDS Esport

- Heroic
Moving over to North America, we have a similar story. Accordingly, it all kicks off on 7th September with $50,000. Instead, here the event will be offline and will invole the following top teams:
- DarkZero Esports
- Astralis
- Oxygen Esports
- Spacestation Gaming
- Susquehanna Soniqs
- TSM
- beastcoast
- XSET
- Mirage
Let’s dive into the format for these events below.
Format
The format for both regular season events remains identical to one another.
Both will involve a single round-robin league format. For those unaware, this means that all teams will play against one another once to wrap up the competition.
Here, each match will be BO1, with the following point system:
- Regular Win – 3 Points
- Overtime Win – 2 Points
- Overtime Defeat – 1 Point
What are they fighting for?
For both cases, the top 4 teams for each region will earn a seed at the Six Major. It’s at this November Major that many regions will compete against one another. However, back in the North American League the last placed team will also endure Relegation.

Predictions
We’ll start our predictions with North America. Accordingly, here’s how the league matched up in the Stage 2 competition a few months ago in June:
- Spacestation Gaming
- TSM
- Susquehanna Soniqs
- DarkZero Esports
- Disrupt Gaming
Then, at the following Six Mexico Major, it no team really managed to impress. Ultimately, Spacestation and DarkZero Esports only managed a 5-8th finish. Accordignly, heading into this season, it’s likely that Spacestation and TSM will keep packing the heat.
Moving over to Europe, we’ll be doing something similar – let’s take a look at how Stage 2 went:
- Team Empire
- G2 Esports
- Natus Vincere
- BDS Esport
- Team Vitality
Overall, the European competition seems to be going at it at a higher level of intensity. Indeed, it was at the Six Major that the likes of Team Empire managed to impress and land a second place finish, while BDS Esport jumped up to 3-4th.
Otherwise, these predictions are only attempts at trying to figure things out. Note that roster changes look to make this season that much more exciting. Accordingly, we’ll be sure to keep up to date with the ongoing league.
