Indeed, it’s been a while since the RoV Pro League 2022 has been in action. Accordingly, we’re ready to enjoy the next chapter of competitive Arena of Valor with the upcoming Summer event starting in the coming days. Read on as we provide all of the essential viewership details for this exciting event below!
Event Background
For those unaware, the RoV Pro League 2022 has become a franchised league of its own, following the structure of other popular leagues such as the Overwatch League and LCK for League of Legends.
Bearing this in mind, we have a fixed number of teams who are established teams in the franchised system. Accordingly, the following are the franchised teams for this upcoming season of the RoV Summer Pro League 2022:
- Talon Esports
- Valencia CF Esports
- Bacon Tume
- Buriram United Esports
- eArena
- King of Gamers Club
- PSG Esports
- EVOS Esports TH
- GOLDCITY Esports
Throwing $300,000 on the line, the event kicks off on 29th January. Should everything go as planned, the event will involve an Online and Offline component, with the best teams competing in Bangkok for the final chapter.
Do note that besides the prize, a seed to the AIC 2022 is up for grabs for the very first seed.
Format
Speaking of which, let’s discuss the format for this 3 month long event.
Starting with January 29th, we have the Group Stage. Here, all teams will be placed into a Group Stage, competing in a double round-robin to play best-of-five matches. After everyone plays one another twice, all the action concludes by March 20th 2022.
Once complete, only the top 4 teams from the Group Stage will qualify to the Playoffs. Note that the Group Stage will be played online while the Playoffs will be played offline in Bangkok
- Upper Bracket Final – 1st place vs 2nd place from Group Stage
- Lower Bracket Semifinals – 3rd place vs 4th place from Group Stage
Taking place sometime in April, the Playoff will involve a double eliminatio bracket with teams seeded according to placement in Group Stage. Each mach will be a BO7 all the way to the Grand Final.

Predictions
The last time these teams competed with one another in the RoV Pro League 2021 Winter event, here’s how the standings concluded:
- 1st – Talon Esports
- 2nd – Valencia CF eSports
- 3rd – Bacon Time
- 4th – Buriram United Esports
- 5th – eArena
- 6th – King of Gamers Club
- 7th – PSG Esports
- 8th – Force Gaming
However, despite Talon Esports coming out on top at the Winter event, it was at the International Championship 2021 that things changed.
In fact, Buriram United Esports walked away as world champions from last year. Considering this, it’ll likely be a close fight between Talon Esports and Buriram United Esports for this Summer event.
