Once again, for competitive Rainbow Six Siege, the community is preparing for an exciting international competition. Accordingly, the Six Berlin Major 2022 is kicking off within the week – read on to learn How to Watch this incredible event!
Event Background
Overall, this is a historic event for Rainbow Six. Specifically, taking place in Berlin, Germany the Major will have the very first live crowd in Europe since 2018. Indeed, the event will be live in the Theater am Potsdamer Platz, with $500,000 on the line.
Furthermore, the event will run from 15th August to 21st August. Naturally, Ubisoft has invited the top 16 teams from the world. Find them listed below:

Apart from the prize pool, teams are fighting for Six Invitational Points which will prove essential to seed for the Six Invitational later on this year.
Format
Kicking things off, the event will start with the Group Stage. Running from 15th to 17th August, the group stage will involve four groups of four. Notably, each group will have a different regional seed.
Here are your groups listed below:
- A: DAMWON Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Rogue, XSET
- B: FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, SANDBOX Gaming, Soniqs
- C: Gaimin Gladiators, Oxygen Esports, w7m esports, Wolves Esports
- D: Astralis, Elevate, FURIA Esports, MNM Gaming
Following a round robin, where each team will compete with one another in a BO1 match, not everyone will make it to the Playoffs.
Specifically, only the top 2 teams from each Group will progress to the Playoffs.
Taking place from 19th August to the 21st, a single elimination bracket will decide the remainder of the competition. For those unaware, this means that teams have only one lifeline in the competition.
The first round of Playoffs matches will involve randomized 1st place vs 2nd place teams from each group. Subsequently, all matches will be BO3, while the Grand Finals will be BO5 with no map advantage.

Predictions
For those unaware, the past few international events has witnessed the return of North America as a more dominant region over South America. This is evident in the standings of the most recent international event – the Charlotte Major:

- #2 – Astralis – NA
- #3-4 – Oxygen Esports – NA, Team Liquid – BR
Naturally, although DarkZero Esports didn’t manage to qualify for this event, plenty of NA teams such as Astralis are here to represent.
