The PUBG Mobile South East Asia Finals are on the horizon, and it’s going to be one hell of an event for all PUBG Mobile fans around the world. This tournament will be crucial to all that want to make it in the big leagues, as whoever gets a 1st or 2nd place, they will grab a spot in the PUBG Mobile Eastern World League versus the best teams that South East Asia has to offer.
Tournament’s background
PUBG Mobile SEA Pro League is a PUBG Mobile professional league which features teams from the Southeast Asia region. Which means that teams that are from Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam or Indonesia, can participate in these events.
Prize pool
The Prize pool is currently set to be distributed to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. There is also an added bonus for whoever is the Gunkiller player.
- 1st place receives $30,000,
- 2nd receives $20,000,
- 3rd place receives $15,000 and
- Finally, the Gunkiller receives $5,000.
Additionally, the 1st and 2nd placing team will also receive an invite to the Eastern PUBG Mobile World League which is set to be hosted somewhere between June and July. Originally, it was said to be hosted in Katowice, Poland. However, the current health situation will definitely not allow this to happen. There hasn’t been any official statement yet as to whether it has been cancelled or moved to an online setting, although as of right now, it is still on schedule, but will probably be played online.
How to qualify for the main event
The teams for the PUBG Mobile South East Asia Finals were picked as follows,
- Top 3 from PMPL – MYSG,
- Top 3 from PMPL – VN,
- Top 3 from PMPL – TH,
- Top 3 from PMPL – ID,
- Top 3 from SEA Wildcard,
- Finally, RRQ Athena was picked since they were the SEA Fall 2019 Champions.
These teams have gone through several qualifying stages to have a shot at the highly anticipated Eastern PUBG Mobile World League, which will be awarded to the top 2 teams at the PUBG Mobile SEA Pro League Finals.
Tournament format
16 teams will be participating in a Squad TPP gamemode.
15 rounds of matches to be played in 3 days. (5 rounds per day with a break in between the 3rd and 4th match)

However, the Eastern PUBG Mobile World League will be casted in at least 7 different languages, including English, Portuguese, Russian, and many more.
