Let’s dive deeper into the format below!
Format
Overall, the format is similar to the North American Qualifier which we previewed.
All the teams here are part of the Dota Pro Circuit. Being the top 12 teams in the rankings who haven’t qualified yet, everyone has earned their spot to be in this position.
Right off the bat, all the teams will be fighting through a double elimination bracket. While the Grand Final will be an epic BO5 showdown, Lower Bracket Round 1 will be BO1 and all other matches BO3.
Anyways, here are the opening matches from the bracket:
Upper Bracket Quarterfinals
- Outsiders vs Par Parni
- PuckChamp vs Mind Games
- Natus Vincere vs HellRaisers
- One Move vs BetBoom Team
Lower Bracket Round 1
- X3 vs Team Unique
- cybercats vs HYDRA
Lower Bracket Round 2
- Nemiga Gaming vs Outsiders/Pari Parni
- PC/MG vs X3/Team Unique
- NAVI/HR vs cybercats/HYDRA
- Project Armor vs OM/BB
As a reminder, a double elimination bracket involves a team to lose in the Lower Bracket in order to be eliminated. Those who loss in the Upper Bracket are sent down to the Lower Bracket.
At the end of the bracket, one team from the Lower and one from the Upper meet in the Grand Final.

Predictions
Naturally, when it comes to predictions it’s best to look at the Dota Pro Circuit standings from the past year of competition. Here are the top 5 teams below:
- Outsiders – 1019 Points
- BetBoom Team – 629 Points
- Natus Vincere – 341 Points
- Mind Games – 136 Points
- PuckChamp – 93 Points
Evidently, there is a rather large discrepancy. Wholeheartedly, we’d like to favour Outsiders for the direct TI seed.
Meanwhile, BetBoom Team and Natus Vincere will try to fight for the LCQ spots.
