When it comes to VALORANT, most of the time the community discusses major events in major regions. Indeed, in this article we’ll be shifting the focus to the South Asian region. Here, Nodwin has organized an event with Riot Games to focus on lesser known teams offering great competition – the VALORANT Conquerors Championship 2021!

Hosted by the collaboration of NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games, this Minor Online event looks to shake things up in the South Asian region.

Accordingly, with $33,000 on the line, the event looks to run from the 20th August to the 29th, inviting teams that have all earned their spot. Apart from the prize, a single seed for the APAC Last Chance Qualifier is on the line for first place.

It’s at this Qualifier that teams can earn a spot at the VALORANT Champions event!

Predictions

With so many teams hailing from so many regions, it’s tough to make predictions. However, what we can do first is to isolate the top threats from each of the multiple regions and move forward from there.

  • India – Velocity Gaming
  • PK and AF – Salt Esports

Hailing from the larger regions, these two teams are likely the favourites to take that final available seed. Having already proven themselves in the stage 1 qualifiers of their respective regions, it’s hard to argue.

Of course, the lesser region teams can still offer a surprise, especially since they are lesser known.

Otherwise, the Wildcard of Enigma Gaming is originally from India where they are ranked lower than the two other Indian teams in attendance.

Beyond competition, this event is a great opportunity for VALORANT to keep growing in the South Asian region especially in the long run.
