Following the Spring iteration of the event, expectations are high heading into this upcoming tournament. Once again, Tencent is inviting 16 teams, halving them into West and East Conferences. The following teams will be competing for the prize of roughly $50,000:

Although new names are present, do note that this is due to some teams rebranding since Spring. The franchised league is returning to an offline format for the King Pro League Fall 2020 event.
Format and Predictions for King Pro League Fall
The event kicks off on the 16th September and runs to 19th December. Here’s the format in stages:
- Group Stage – Sep 16 to Nov 22 – single-round robin, BO5
- Playoffs – Nov 26 to Dec 19 – double-elimination bracket, BO7
In terms of predictions, Weibo Turnso Gaming will be defending their win from the King Pro League Spring 2020 event and are therefore the favourites.
