These past few days, we’ve had to be careful of any April Fool’s jokes made by esports organization. However, the LA Thieves roster change is certainly no joke, with veteran player of Austin “Slasher” Liddicoat being offed to the bench for the first time. Indeed – here’s the big scoop.
LA Thieves Roster – 4 Submachine Guns?
Stage 2 so far has been really tough on the LA Thieves roster – being handed out losses from multiple teams and losing their former position as a competent team. Indeed, this continued to happen even after swapping out “Temp” with “Venxm”. Here’s the new fix to the solution:
- Carlos “Venom” Hernandez
- Thomas “TJHaly” Haly
- Kenny “Kenny” Williams
- Zack “Drazah” Jordan
Having sat on the bench for an entire season so fire, this is ‘Drazah’s shot to perform after an impressive season last year in Modern Warfare.
Yet, nobody saw this coming – benching a veteran like “Slasher” is quite surprising, however, I think I know what’s going on here. It seems that LA Thieves is following Toronto Ultra’s decision.
By swapping your Assault Rifle player, it changes the entire dynamic for the team. This is likely what the LA Thieves need instead of swapping another submachine gun. Supposedly, “Kenny” will now pick it up and this team is desperate for success at the next event.
