Evidently, it seems that Counter Logic Gaming and Immortals failed to reach the Playoffs. Specifically, it all came down to the final showdown between CLG and Dignitas through an additional decider game.
Meanwhile, 100 Thieves failed to break into the Top 6.

Here are the seeds for the Playoffs as covered in an earlier article:
- Top two – bye to Winners’ Bracket Round 2
- 3-6th – Winners’ Bracket Round 1
- 7-8th – Losers’ Bracket
Played out on Patch 10.16, the following is how the bracket looks as a result:
The Summer Playoffs are due to run from 13th August up to 6th September. It’s a chance for European teams to qualify for the Worlds 2020 Main Event.
At the Summer Playoffs, only the top three teams will have a chance to make it.
