We’re back at it again and now we’ve got another week recap for you. This week, we’re taking a look at the LCS 2021 Spring season. Indeed, it’s shaping up into something incredible. With 5 more weeks to go, Week 1 was an awesome opportunity to set the pace for the remainder of the season!
LCS 2021 Spring Standings Update
After one week with 15 games, here’s how the ten teams stand right now:
Obviously, we need to talk about 100 Thieves and Cloud9. Mainly, 100 Thieves, I’d like to point out their journey right now. Failing to qualify for Worlds 2020, the organization was devastated last season. The change was needed and they made it, bringing in 4 new players in November for next season. Managing to take down Evil Geniuses, they’ve managed to secure a tie for first, which is awesome for them.
Meanwhile, Cloud9 are keeping up their performance from last season and staying on top of things. On the other hand, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid both started the season with a loss each. Also, concerns are growing over TSM and their current position in the leaderboard. However, do note that this is still very early in the season.
Heading into next week matches to look out for include Evil Geniuses vs Cloud9, 100Thieves vs Cloud9 and 100Thieves vs Team Liquid.
Next week looks to be a banger.
