Starting only in the middle of June, the LEC Summer 2022 event is still underway. Indeed, as one of the more popular regions, the competition is roughly halfway there. Bearing this in mind, read on as we dive deeper in our preview for Week 4!
LEC Summer 2022 Week 4 – Still Early Days
So, what are these teams competing for? Specifically, across the eight weeks of competition, teams are fighting to finish within the Top 6 in order to make it to Playoffs. Also, the higher the seeding, the better for match-ups in the Playoffs.
Anyways, the following standings are present before the Week 4 matches:
- #1 – Excel – 5:2
- #1 – Fnatic – 5:2
- #1 – Rogue – 5:2
- #4 – G2 Esports – 4:3
- #4 – MAD Lions – 4:3
- #4 – Team Vitality – 4:3
- #7 – Astralis – 3:4
- #7 – Misfits Gaming – 3:4
- #9 – SK Gaming – 1:6
- #9 – Team BDS – 1:6
Considering the number of ties, every match has a huge effect on the standings. Accordingly, the following are some key matches we’ve highlighted:
- Vitality vs Rogue (15th July) – an opportunity for G2 Esports to break the three way tie and climb over the likes of Rogue
- Fnatic vs Vitality (15th July) – once again, Vitality have another tough match, this time against Fnatic
