League of Legends is currently enjoying a bunch of in-game changes this April as patch 10.7 rolls out while League of Legends Galaxies 2020 is also live. With all this being said, Riot Games remains continuously pushing the testing cycle and just like that, lol patch 10.8 is right around the corner and we’ve got all the details.
To hit the game on April 15th, the momentary shutting down of the title will bring with it numerous champions changes, item changes together with some new cosmetic skins. Let’s waste no time and get straight into it.
Champions Changes (nerfed)
- Aphelios: stat level up changed while Q ability scale up changed from {1-9} to {1-13}
- Kalista: base armour decreased and slow effect decreased
- Master Yi: slight increase in base HP but reduced base armour
- Senna: Spawn rate of souls on minions not killed decreased
- Sett: damaged decreased for Haymaker (W)
- Varus: cooldown increased for Chain of Corruption (R)
Champions Changes (buffed)
- Ashe: bonus attack speed for Ranger’s Focus
- Evelyn: Hate Spike (Q) lasher and spike damage increased
- Orianna: Dissonance (W) with raised movement speed and slow effect while Protect (E) offers higher Shield AP ratio
- Tristana: Explosive Charge (E) with an increased Bonus AD ratio
- Xayah: Bladecaller (E) damage falloff reduced
There’s a tonne to chew right above, as many heroes have been tweaked ever so slightly. Meanwhile, four in-game items all received the identical buff as outlined below.
Item Changes
- Hunter’s Talisman, Hunter’s Machete, Stalker’s Blade, Skirmisher’s Sabre: item’s healing amplified by 50% when under 30% Health
Other changes in the lol patch 10.8 include certain tweaks to Jungle, as XP changes and Homeguard upon death in the early game. Then, there are the less game-changing Champion Skins unveiled too.
