Kicking off on the 3rd October, the LoL Worlds 2020 event has progressed far. In fact, the competitive League of Legends event is officially halfway through the group stage. LoL Worlds 2020 Group Stage Standings
Here are the current standings for Worlds 2020 as they are right now:
Predictions for the Group Stage
Group A
Group A is definitely one of the most contested group at the event so far, due to the fact that each team has at least a single win. Out of the four, it’s definitely most likely that G2 Esports and Suning will progress. However, following Team Liquid’s surprising win over G2 Esports, it’s less certain as to who’ll take it.

Group B
Over in Group B, things are a little more clear cut. It’s without question that DAMWON Gaming will be progressing following their dominance and that PSG Talon is in the deep end. The second and final seed is more of a question mark though JD Gaming look geared to claim it over Rogue.

Group C
As we predicted, Group C is certainly the ‘group of death’. Three teams: Fnatic, Gen.G and LGD Gaming. Indeed, LGD Gaming came out of nowhere with an incredible win over Gen.G, though Gen.G and Fnatic are most likely the favourites here.

Group D
Just like in Group B, Group D offers a more clear-cut winner. Indeed, Top Esports will need no further encouragement to move on. The pressure is on DRX to make it through, with FlyQuest being their main obstacle.
