Continuing our recaps for today, we’re turning our attention to the LPL 2021 Spring event. With 5 weeks having passed, it’s the perfect opportunity for a midseason review. Accordingly, strap yourselves in for a quick summary and signposting of the season!
LPL 2021 Spring Standings Update
Here’s how the 17 LPL teams currently stack up right now:
Indeed, seventeen teams are quite a lot to talk about – so I’ll focus our gaze on the top half of the leaderboard and any other findings.
However, I’m concerned over Top Esports and Suning – what on earth happened? As both teams reached the top 4 at Worlds 2020, they’ve kicked off the season entirely flat. Apparently, the newly formed rosters still seem to be finding their footing. Yet, there isn’t much more time, as half the season remains!
While these two giants falter, EDward Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix have gotten carried away at the top of the leaderboard. Both teams are on 7 and 6 win streaks respectively. With EDward Gaming defeated FunPlus Phoenix earlier in the season, they look like the top dog right now.
