Surprising results
Heading into the 2021 season, we knew how much the LPL has changed, especially because of all the players that have left, or joined the league. Our first surprising result was Suning winning 2-0 versus Top Esports. After losing their main support, SwordArt, many thought that team was going to have a hard time this year. But the team has rebuilt its roster around SofM, and it’s looking like they’ve made the right choice.
Our 2nd surprising result was Invictus Gaming’s win over JD Gaming. After JDG’s great run in the 2020 World Championship, it would be very shocking to see them not in the top 3 by the end of the Spring Split. Them losing the opening match versus iG could be a long line of losses. But we’ll have to wait for the following weeks of the LPL to conclude that.
This season of League of Legends is going to be one hell of a ride, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for any esports news that we release on www.esportsguide.com!
