Back at Worlds 2021, MAD Lions were the final teams standing for European competitive scene. However, they couldn’t face the other internatinoal competition and failed to make an impression. Accordingly, the roster has made some changes to try improve – read on to learn about the following headline – MAD Lions Drops Carzzy!
MAD Lions Drops Carzzy – A Healthy Change
On paper, in terms of regional competition, MAD Lions isn’t a team many expected to change.
Accordingly, the only complaint from last season was not managing to make it very far in internatinoal competitions. In order to try and fix things up, they’ve just announced they’re dropping Matyas “Carzzy” Orsag as the former Bottom Laner.
Individually talented, the decision boils down to team composition and working together. Since his departure, the likes of “UNFORGIVEN” and “Reeker” have been added to the active roster:
- Irfan “Armut” Tukek – Top Laner
- Javier “Elyoya” Batalla – Jungler
- Marek “Humanoid” Brazada – Mid Laner
- Steven “Reeker” Chen- Mid Laner
- William “UNFORGIVEN” Nieminen – Bot Laner
- Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser – Support
As I’ll reiterate, the organization looks to improve from last year in terms of international performance:
- 5-8th @ Worlds 2021
- 1st @ LEC 2021 Summer Playoffs
- 3-4th @ MSI 2021
- 1st @ LEC 2021 Spring Playoffs
Let’s see if MAD Lions will stay on top of Europe and inch closer to international dominance.
