100 Thieves have just announced that they have decided to part ways with their league of legends academy team jungler, Meteos. Here is their statement:

What led to his departure?

Before Meteos was 100 Thieves’ academy team jungler he was on the main roster, playing in LCS, up until Week 3, where the 100 Thieves management decided it would be best for their jungler and support to be swapped with their academy team. Meteos did not take this lightly, and took to twitter to express his emotions after the swap. It seemed natural that Meteos will be departing the organization afterwards, however he might have a seat saved on another squad. His side of the departure is explained in a twitlonger he released:

Who are they bringing in?

100 Thieves have opted to bring in some new and fresh raw talent from their 100X squad. Milan “Tenacity” Oleksij will be in the top lane, and Shane “Kenvi” Espinoza will be the direct replacement to Meteos in the jungle. They will definitely be a team worth looking towards, in their coming matches.
