NA League Season 1 Stage 2 – Three Days In

While the European side of the event is still waiting to get started, the North American league has already kicked off. Indeed, starting on 14th September, the competition is already underway. Read on for a breakdown on how the NA League Season 1 Stage 2 event will continue!

Accordingly, a small total of 8 teams are fighting for regional dominance. Returning from Stage 1, here they are:

  • Spacestation Gaming
  • Team SoloMid
  • DarkZero Esports
  • Oxygen Esports
  • Tempo Storm
  • eUnited
  • Susquehanna Soniqs
  • Disrupt Gaming

Running up until the 14th of October, $50,000 is on the line. Beyond that, the top three will progress to the Six Major in November, while 5-6th meet the NA Qualifier. Otherwise, last place will meet relegation.

Unlike the European event, the format is very different. Instead of a round robin, a double-elimination GSL group stage will take place. Divided into phases, the first phase decide the two brackets.

Accordingly, four winners will move on to a Winners’ Double Bracket while the bottom four will drop to the Losers’ Double Bracket. So far in the competition, the initial matches of the Group stage have been played out:

Hence, the NA League Season 1 Stage 2 is a lot more competition than the European side of things.
