Na’Vi win PMPL Season 1 EMEA 2021 – How?

Natus Vincere kicked off the event with an amazing start. They did so because they won the first match with 18 kills, and another win just after that, but with 11 kills. This got them a huge advantage from the beginning and were way ahead of any other team in the standings.

Then in Round 11, they got their third win, 15 eliminations, and they also won the round after that with 13 kills. In round 13 they weren’t as lucky, as they got eliminated early, but they got their revenge in the following games. Round 14 and Round 16 were crucial for sealing the win as they won the 14th round with 7 kills, and the 16th with 15.

After these rounds they continued to get high placements, as well as grabbing a couple more kills. In the end they finished the tournament with 301 points, having a 48 point gap from 2nd place.

Concluding thoughts

It’s fair to say that just by looking at their results in their initial matches, as well as their matches in the middle of the event, Na’Vi were just unstoppable. They had an insane lead from the beginning, and they kept the momentum throughout the tournament.
