Riot Games have just revealed that they are releasing a new VALORANT agent with the name of KAY/O. Here is everything you need to know:
New VALORANT Agent KAY/O – Abilities
We know this is the most exciting part of the agent, so we’ll get straight into it:
C – FRAG/ment:
- Equip an explosive garment. Fire to throw. The fragment will stick on the floor and it explodes multiple times. It deals near lethal damage at the center with each explosion.
Q – FLASH/drive:
- Equip a flash grenade. Fire to throw. The flash grenade explodes after a short fuse, blinding anyone in line of sight.
E – ZERO/point:
- Equip a suppression blade which needs to be fired to throw. THe blade sticks to the first surface it hits, winds up, and suppresses anyone in the radius of the explosion.
X – NULL/cmd:
- Instantly overload with polarized radianite energy that pulses from KAY/O in a massive radius. Enemies hit with pulses suppress for a short duration. While overloaded, KAY/O gains a combat stim and can be re-stabilized if downed.

How will KAY/O impact the agent pool?
As can be seen above, KAY/O will act as VALORANT’s newest initiator agent. What’s notable is that KAY/O’s first two abilities are quite similar to ones we already have with other agents. However, what is interesting is that the signature ability (ZERO/point) is a new mechanic within VALORANT. We think that KAY/O will be an important agent in the upcoming events for the VCT.
