As you may have noticed in the past few days, there have been many leaks and hints at the new VALORANT Agent. Agent 14 is codenamed Pogger, and is set to release sometime in January, as per Riot’s “New agent every Act”. Here below is a silhouette of what agent 14 will probably look like:
Originally, leakers had found another agent, which was codenamed “Shatter”. Unfortunately, it was later revealed that this was an early version of Phoenix and not an entirely new agent. Here below is an image of Shatter:

In a recent video that the Riot have posted on their Youtube channel, a new agent icon can be seen at the top of the screen (1:18). This is how agent 14, codenamed “Pogger” will look like:

In a recent blog post that was released, Riot mentioned that the next agent will be a duelist. Here is a line that proves this:
“The year will tear open with a Duelist for all you “lurkers” out there, who will keep you on your toes around which angles are truly safe.”
Many were expecting a controller type of agent to release due to the current state of controller agents. With Viper being worse than both Omen and Brimstone, teams are still relying on these two for cover when entering bomb sites, and that is definitely hurting the competitive scene. Having another duelist in the line up will definitely aid those aggressive teams like TSM and Heretics. But in the end, we’ll have to see the agent’s abilities, and how the agent will play out overall.
