Kicking off last month, the North American League R6 is the inaugural convergence of the region. Indeed, held offline with a $175,000 prize pool, the event is roughly halfway through. Accordingly, here at esportsguide we’ll be providing a mid-event update in the following event!
North American League R6 – 5 Playdays Remaining
So far, a total of four Playdays have passed – meaning that a total of 16 games have already been played out. Accordingly, most teams have played a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 matches. Here’s how the standings currently sit as of today:
I’ll start off by saying; our predictions warning of DarkZero Esports’ reign at the top were correct! Although marginally, they’ve managed to take down all of their opponents with the exception of a loss of Disrupt Gaming.
Otherwise, one thing which is quickly evident is that the Canadian teams seem to occupy the lower half of the leaderboard – only beastcoast seems to be contended with the Americans.
Another observation is Spacestation Gaming. Indeed, while it looks like they may not be performing up to par, not that they suffered a tough Overtime Loss to the likes of TSM who currently sit at second place – winning there could have changed the leaderboard for them.
