ONE Esports Singapore Major – What’s Changing?
So, officially, PGL has had to confirm that both beastcoast and Natus Vincere will not be making it to the offline event. Both of these top teams had already earned spots in the Major thanks to impressive performances in their respective regions. Just like that, an immediate change was needed:
- From the Wild Card stage – three instead of two teams will now progress to the Playoff
- Accordingly, that means seven teams will move on
Other than that, everything is business as usual and accommodated. Such quick actions by PGL assures us that the event will be a success regardless of the ups and downs.
Kicking off on March 27th, the $500,000 is setting the ceiling for the Dota Pro Circuit this year. This is what everybody, both competitors and community, have been waiting for – two teams dropping out can’t stop that.
