Overwatch Esports 2022 – Esports Roadmap
Following the delaying of Overwatch 2, the community is rather uncertain over this upcoming season. Indeed, there are doubts, which is why this season needs to be extra successful – namely, the OWL 2022 season will be played on Overwatch 2.
Although no official roadmap has been provided by Blizzard, it’s likely that the essential components of the season will remain the same, as rosters are finalized on March 1st.
Over the coming months, we expect the start of the mayhem all over again, with the 20 teams competing once more:
East
- Chengdu Hunters
- Guangzhou Charge
- Hangzhou Spark
- Los Angeles Valiant
- New York Excelsior
- Philadelphia Fusion
- Seoul Dynasty
- Shanghai Dragons
West
- Atlanta Reign
- Boston Uprising
- Dallas Fuel
- Florida Mayhem
- Houston Outlaws
- London SPitire
- Los Angeles Gladiators

All of these franchised teams will go at it across the Regular Season. Indeed, at multiple stages, bracket-style playoff weekends such as May Melee and June Joust will take place.
