Franchises can change location, but it’s not something we see often. Indeed, the likes of DM Esports is choosing to relocate both of their franchises. Read on to find out the future of Paris Legion and Paris Eternal below!
Paris Legion and Paris Eternal – Reasonable Move
Accordingly, for those unaware, both Paris franchises are from two different leagues:
- Paris Legion – Call of Duty League
- Paris Eternal – Overwatch League
However, that all changes for the 2023 season of both organizations. Specifically, they’re both looking to represent Las Vegas as announced below:
Looking to rename as “Vegas Legion” and “Vegas Eternal”, this looks to be a simple change.
However, the only implication here is for Overwatch. Accordingly, the competition here is divided into West and East regions. Therefore, by moving to Los Angeles, this franchise would now count as part of the West.
Although, this is also a relief. Both organizations failed to achieve both success and proper representation of the French region – moving to North America will give them another chance to start over once again.
