While LoL is booming with MSI, competitive CS:GO is enjoying the PGL Antwerp Major 2022. Accordingly, with $1,000,000 on the line for the top 24 teams in the world, the show is still live. Read on for a concise event update below!
PGL Antwerp Major 2022 Update – Final Stage Incoming
As of today, we’re on the verge of the conclusion of the second stage of competition. Specifically, the final day of the Legends Stage will take place on May 17th. From here, only the top 8 will progress to compete in the Champions Stage.
So far, from the first stage of competition, the following teams have been eliminated:
- Bad News Eagles
- Team Liquid
- forZe
- Astralis
- MIBR
- Complexity Gaming
- Eternal Fire
- IHC Esports
- 9z Team
- Renegades
Moving forward, the Champions Stage will run from May 19th to May 22nd. Taking place through a single elimination bracket, all matches will be BO3 and finally, we’ll have our international Major champions to behold.
As of right now, favourites include Natus Vincere and Team Spirit, who have both remained flawless in the Legends Stage. Also, FaZe Clan look poised to possibly win another event this year.
