Accordingly, although we’re excited for the PGL Arlington 2022 Dota 2 event, there have been some issues. Indeed, many teams have reported difficulties with getting their players to the venue. Bearing this in mind, Royal Never Give Up have their own announcement.
PGL Arlington 2022 Dota 2 – A Common Issue
Heading into this event, Royal Never Give Up are arguably the best team from the Chinese region. After placing 1st at the DPC CN Tour 3: Division 1, they look set to head to The International.
However, as we mentioned, the whole roster won’t be able to attend this Major. Specifically, the likes of Daniel “Ghost” Chan Kok Hong will not be able to make it.
Instead, the likes of Anathan “ana” Pham will be standing in – here’s how the roster looks like:
- Lu “Somnus’M” Yao
- Yang “Chalice” Shenyi
- Hu “kaka” Liangzhi
- Yap “xNova” Jian Wei
- Anathan “ana” Pham – stand-in
Notably, the Australian player is coming out of retirement to help out this Chinese team. With a long history competing and multiple victories at The International from his time on OG – he’s a great signing.
Can RNG as a team perform with one of their main players missing? We’ll have to wait and see next week.
