PGL Stockholm Major Recap – Following the Winners
As we like to do for these events, we follow the journey of the champions. Let’s dive in to properly learn how they earned their major share of the $2,000,000 by seeing them at each stage of the competition.
By earning a seed into the Legends Stage, Natus Vincere had the best teams in the world to go up against. Accordingly, it’s here that they managed to keep it flawless. Indeed, a 3-0 scoreline over Heroic, Virtus.pro and Ninjas in Pyjamas gave them a ticket to the next stage,
Moving over into the Champions Stage, Na’Vi had a bracket to handle. Accordingly, first they took down Team Vitality in a 2-0 sweep. After this, we then saw them destroy Gambit Esport in a similar fashioni.
Heading into the Grand Final, G2 Esports waited for them. Offering one of the best Grand Finals we’ve ever seen in a while, Natus Vincere pulled it together to complete their incredible run to win the Major.
We can’t wait to see how the event will be recorded in the history of competitive CS:GO.
