Season 6 of PUBG has offered some much-needed incentive for the community to hop back into the action and return to the battle royale, especially with new competition from the likes of Call of Duty Warzone. The third update for season 6 has probably been the least explosive one yet, quite ironically. Below we’ll be covering all of the changes and additions mentioned in the PUBG 6.3 patch notes.
We’ll cover everything through a list:
- Addition of the first-ever rocket launcher in PUBG – the Panzerfaust is available only on the new Karakin map: an uncommon and devastating projectile weapon which is also a one-use item
- M249 is now a semi-rare weapon spawn, and no longer an air-drop exclusive, reducing base damage, increasing recoil and reducing ammo
- Tommy gun increased accuracy, rate of fire, less recoil
- UMP-45: slightly more damage and increased rate of fire.

Heading into PUBG, the battle-royale is definitely under threat of losing most of its players to the alternatives of Apex Legends and Call of Duty Warzone. The title will be needing more updates to keep up the heat and avoid the title from getting stale.
