Indeed, as we previewed a few weeks ago, PUBG Esports 2023 promises a new and exciting format. Accordingly, PUBG Corporation have updated the format by revealing the seeding for events for each region – read on to learn more!
PUBG Esports 2023 – Competition Starts Soon
For those unaware, competitive PUBG will involve four main international events:
- PUBG Global Series 1 (April)
- PUBG Global Series 2 (July)
- PNC (October)
- PUBG Global Championship (December)
Bearing this in mind, we know have access to the seeding split.
Here’s how regions will seed into PGS 2023 events:
- Americas – 3 slots
- APAC – 6 slots
- Asia – 5 slots
- Europe – 2 slots
- Global Partner Team – 8 slots
In addition, we also have the seeds for PUBG Global Championship 2023, the biggest event in the calendar year – here are the slots:
- Americas – 4 slots
- APAC – 7 slots
- Asia – 10 slots
- Europe – 6 slots
- PGS – 4 slots
- Host region – 1 slot
Overall, this split respects the competitive nature of each region, with more slots being given to Asia and APAC for such reasons. Of note, no Global Partner Team will be granted direct access to PGC. Everyone will need to earn their spot.
