PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 – 40 Teams Attending
So, what’s new? Mainly, thanks to some intel leaked by the Peacekeeper Elite account earlier this week, two new points of interest have rised to the surface:
- Teams: 40 teams from around the world will qualify and earn seeds to compete at this event. Naturally, the number of seeds varies across all regions. Indeed, this is a lot more than we originally thought.
- Prize pool: $6,000,000 – this makes ths event the largest PUBG Mobile esports event ever!
So, besides the Peacekeeper Elite League making a return on October 21st, the much larger PMGC event kicks off on October 28th.
What else is there to say? After an incredible year, this event looks to cement PUBG Mobile as the biggest mobile esport in the world, apart from being a major contender as the leading esport in general.
