Over the past month, regional Rainbow Six Siege competition has been taking place. Accordingly, teams have been fighting for a spot at the upcoming Major! In this article we’ll focus on the North American region – read on for your own R6S NAL 2022 Stage 1 recap!
R6S NAL 2022 Stage 1 – Tight at the Top
Kicking off at the end of March, the $50,000 on the line was not the main prize. No, for the 10 teams involved, earning one of the top 4 spots to head to the Major were more precious.
Competing in a single round robin league format, the following are the conclusive standings:
- 1st – Astralis – 22 points
- 2nd – Oxygen Esports – 19 points
- 3rd – DarkZero Esports – 18 points
- 4th – XSET – 17 points
- 5th – Spacestation Gaming – 14 points
As you can see, the top 4 were simply a cut above the rest.
Namely, Astralis have turned the heads of the entire community. After not finding much success after diving into the esport back in October, the pressure was on for this historically successful organization.
Living up to their reputation, they’ll be on top of the North American region, earning the number one spot to the Six Charlotte Major later in May!
