Every now and then, the top esports titles usually receive a large content update. Accordingly, that seems to be the case for the R6S Operation Brutal Swarm update. Read on as we list the most important changes in this update!
R6S Operation Brutal Swarm – A Quick List
Specifically, the update will go live for Rainbow Six Siege on September 6th. Let’s look at some changes:
- New Attacker – Grim – 3 speed Attacker, intel-gatherer, Kawan Hive Launcher gadget
- Brutal Swarm Battle Pass
- Map pool – Stadium joining after appearing back in 2021, the event is now fully in the map pool
- New tactical – EMP grenade for Attackers, different from Thatcher EMP grenade
- Balance changes – Rook and Dakkaebi slightly buffed
Accordingly, a mixture of small and significant changes have made this update rather interesting.

Note that currently teams are enjoying a short break after the Six Berlin Major concluded this past weekend. Now, competition will be back in the middle of September.
