Renegades Qualify for PGL Stockholm – Oceania’s Only Team
With only one seed for the Oceania region, many had Renegades as the only team that would be able to clench this spot. Although contested by three other teams: ORDER, LookingForOrg and VERTEX Esports Club, they managed to come out on top.
Currently, the roster is sitting in the Grand Final, waiting to match up against LookingForOrg at the IEM Fall Oceania online event.
Take a look at their roster below:
- Liam “malta’ Schembri
- Simon “Sico” Williams
- Joshua “INS” Potter
- Jordan “Hatz” Bajic
- Alistair “aliStair’ Johnston
- David “Kingfisher” Kingsford
Although dominating the Oceania region, they’ll be facing the entire world in the coming Major event. Here’s a look at their recent performances:
- 13-16th at IEM Masters Cologne
- Absence from the ESL Pro League Season 14 due to travelling issues
Although definitely not a favourite, the Australian team can make an impact at the Contender level.
