Born only two years ago, VALORANT started out as a Riot Games project. Accordingly, the community is incredibly excited for Riot Games Project L – read on as we explain further on this potential esport!
Riot Games Project L – Carving a New Niche?
Accordingly, Project L was originally revealed in 2019. For those unaware, this is Riot Games’ attempt at creating a 2v2 platform fighting game.
Considerably, this is the same genre as titles such as Super Smash Bros by Nintendo and Brawlhalla.
Anyways, here are some details which came out very recently:
- Release Date – 2023 at earliest
- Champions included are multiple from League of Legends – Ahri, Darius, Ekko, Illaioi, Jinx, Katarina
- Free to Play
Over the years, Riot has been known to perfect their approach to a niche.
Accordingly, that’s why we’re so excited for this title. Indeed, fighting games esports have always had potential which seemed to lack proper organization and support.
Indeed, we’re also excited because Riot Games will support competitive play and continue supporting the esports industry.
Bearing this in mind, we’ll be sure to stay up to date!
