Over the next year, competitive VALORANT will be entering a new era of play. Accordingly, with the competition becoming bigger than ever, so will the venues. Bearing this in mind, Riot Games VALORANT 2023 have a new venue planned for the incoming season!
Riot Games VALORANT 2023 – Coming March 2023
For those unaware, next year involves an international league divided into multiple regions.
Indeed, following the opening Sao Paolo Kickoff with all teams, things become regional. Specifically, 10 regional teams will compete in the EMEA district.
Bearing this in mind, Riot Games is setting up a new studio at the Messe Berlin Charlottenburg. Conveniently, this studio will be right across from Riot Games’ LEC studio. Once again, this is part of Riot’s efforts to make VALORANT unique from League of Legends.
This new studio will be used to host the VCT EMEA competition – which will inolve the following format:
- Single Round Robin Format
- Double Elimination Bracket
Over 8 weeks of competition will see the top teams in Europe go head to head. Once complete, only the best will move on to the Masters Event in June, followed by Last Chance Qualifier in July and Champions in August.
