RLCS Fall Major 2022 Recap – NA Stay On Top
Indeed, with $310,000 on the line and the top 16 teams in the world attending, this was always going to be an incredible event.
Hosted by Psyonix in the Rotterdam Ahoy arena, the event took place over the entire weekend. The following were the final standings after the event:
- 1st – Gen.G Mobil1 Racing
- 2nd – Moist Esports
- 3rd-4th – Team Secret, FaZe Clan
Firstly, let’s point out that North America continue to dominate, thanks to efforts from Gen.G and FaZe Clan.
Also, those who are unfamiliar with Rocket League esports might not realize that Gen.G only entered the esport recently.
Specifically, entering in September of this year by acquiring the roster of ‘Stormtroopers’ – nobody expected them to surprise the world like they did.
Starting strong in the Swiss Stage, they would then go on to take down Team Liquid, FaZe Clan and Moist Esports to claim the international throne.
In terms of viewership, official statistics haven’t emerged yet. Regardless, we’re positive this event was a great start to the competitive year.
